It teaches responsibility, how to change perspective and transform your outlook on life. I saw people forgive the perpetrators of horrific things that happened in their past, and then assume responsibility to have the rest of their lives turn out great.

I got to realize that I and I alone am responsible for the quality of my life. I also got lots of great new and unimagined perspectives about my life. I could see for the first time how things may have occurred for other people that I used to blame for my life.

I took this course once before back in 1993 or 1994, and it changed a bit by 2006. I believe it has changed a bit since, but essentially it is still the great eye-opening and life changing event it was designed to be.

Landmark offers a free ten week follow up seminar series to participants that really helps incorporate what you learn in the weekend of the Landmark Forum. I got a lot of value from this ten week seminar series.

is Landmark's entry course, the one developed by Werner Erhard back in the 70's and known as EST. After taking it you can pursue any of their different course directions.

More than any other personal growth product, this one truly zeroed me out, meaning, it got me to a state of quiet. For a while, even if it was only a brief moment, I felt like a Zen master who attained enlightenment. The value of having that imprint is enormous - you know it's there, and even when you loose it and get sucked back into worldly concerns, you remember it.

Warning: This is a rigorous three days and an enlightening three days - not for a casual self-improver. Your inner demons will come to the surface and with them any pain they have caused. However, you get to exorcise them in this work. The relief is that others are in the midst of the same work and you get to witnesss their struggles. This unusual window reveals that you are not the only one with demons haunting your present endeavors. In fact, many are working out very challenging lives. This piece raises the overall compassion you have for yourself and for others.

Byproducts? Yes. Aside from settling a little deeper into your humanity, this course does wonders for past relationships that soured. Many a participant, myself included, turned a lousy family relationships around giving it new life and love.
